Ci glossary

The terms Ci uses when reporting live events, each defined on its own. Every entry has a direct link, so a single definition can be referenced without the rest of the page.

Measurement terms

Verified attendance
A confirmed record that a person arrived at a specific event, tied to the promotion and referral that brought them. Distinct from a ticket sale, an RSVP, or a door count, none of which establish who arrived or what caused them to.
Attributable invitation
An invitation, link, campaign code, or QR path that carries the identity of whoever distributed it, so any resulting arrival traces back to the person or campaign that produced it.
Qualifying dwell
Time spent on site sufficient to support an attendance record, used as corroborating evidence alongside other signals rather than as proof on its own.
Progressive confidence
The principle that attendance records are not all equally certain. Assurance rises as more independent evidence agrees, and each record keeps the level it earned rather than being rounded up.
Evidence source
Any input that supports an attendance record: an event QR check-in, an authorized door scan, ticketing confirmation, guest-list or credential evidence, venue proximity and geofencing, optional dwell and travel confirmation, or venue attestation.
Cost per verified arrival
Campaign cost divided by the number of confirmed arrivals the campaign produced. Unlike cost per impression or cost per click, the denominator counts people evidenced at the venue.
Fraud-adjusted performance
Promoter or campaign numbers reported after duplicate scans, fake accounts, and referral gaming are removed, so genuine work is not diluted by abuse.
Participation graph
The connected record linking who promoted an event, who responded, who arrived, how the attendance was verified, and whether they returned. All Ci reporting is derived from it.

Confidence labels

Every figure in a Ci report carries one of these labels, so an estimate is never presented as a counted fact.

Observed
A fact directly recorded by Ci, such as a scan or check-in.
Verified
An outcome confirmed by independent evidence, such as a staff scan plus a ticket match.
Inferred
A value reasoned from surrounding signals, clearly separated from what was observed.
Modeled
An estimate produced by a model and never presented as a counted fact.
Unavailable
Data Ci does not have, stated plainly rather than filled in.
